Technology remains for me a teacher centered learning tool. That said it is part of almost everything that I do. From instructions to vocabulary to presentations and lessons. All incooperate elements of technology, specifically the projecter. |
I have been able to represent complex ideas in visual form in a much more student friendly way. I am also able to show imagery that would be difficult in other, more expensive, ways |
Students have reacted well but as with any teaching method it must be used in variety so students don't burn out. |
Massive planning and prep work. The images I use have to be found and reviewed before I show them. Videos have to be downloaded rather than simply streaming, To prevent pauses and stalling. |
It is possible but it does take work. You have to be willing to put in the time and effort to make these things work. |
